Peptides Vitamin C Ultrasound Treatment.
We use L-ascorbic acid which is the only form of vitamin C that the body can recognize and utilize to promote collagen synthesis.
Ultrasound energy provides a micro-massage of three million vibrations per second, which stimulates blood flow (as opposed to three vibrations per second provided by traditional facial massage). The warmth generated by increased blood flow causes increased activity of cells in the epidermis. The resulting increase in metabolism of fibroblasts and other connective tissue cells encourages the production of collagen and elastin, and enhances the penetration of the Vitamin C into the epidermis. Another benefit of increased blood flow is an increased lymph flow, which will help expel toxins.

Epicuren Facial.
The Epicuren treatment stimulates cellular memory, which is where skin problems begin and can be resolved. This enzyme treatment, which digests dead skin cells, is a great facial to have before a special occasion. You will see and feel a difference in your face after the first treatment. In fact, it is used by movie stars in preparation for the Oscars!
The facial begins with a cleansing of the skin and, if necessary, a steam and extractions. Then a herbal exfoliant is applied and removed.
The Epicuren mask is then applied in three layers, allowing each layer to dry before application of the next.
- The first layer to be applied is an enzyme hot peel that helps bring blood to the surface of the skin.
- The second layer of mask helps to activate deeper cellular activity.
- The third layer helps to tighten and tone.
When all layers are dry, the mask is removed with a warm towel. To finish, the skin is treated with protein enzymes and moisturizers.

The facial begins with a cleansing of the skin. An ampoule selected for the condition of the skin is then applied. Two probes carrying a microcurrent are used in a specific sequence to work the muscle structures under the surface of the skin. Some clients experience a mild tingling sensation when the procedure's microcurrents are being applied. The treatments are comfortable and relaxing.
Treatments are given two to three times a week in a typical series of ten sessions. Once the series is completed, the recommended maintenance program is usually a treatment every three to four weeks.

Rejuvalight Therapy.

Special probes with specific lights are guided on the surface of the face, using a pen probe for small areas such as the eyes and around the mouth and a larger probe for the larger areas of the face. The pulse frequency is adjusted at various stages of the treatment, starting at a low rate and increasing as the therapy progresses. We have found this soothing treatment to be especially beneficial for our rosacea clients.
Treatments for the series are usually done twice a week for three weeks, unless otherwise recommended. Once the series is completed, the maintenance program is usually a treatment every four weeks.
